Joseph & Lori

Joseph D. Mize Author of The Outrider: Become the Man You Needed

Joseph grew up on a rural Arkansas farm, where he and his wife, Lori, are now raising their family—taking new ground in old soil. He earned a B.B.A. in Business Management from Harding University and an M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership Studies from the University of Lynchburg.

After twelve years in corporate leadership with Acxiom, Joseph followed God's call into ministry. He served at Capstone Treatment Center, later as Director of Marketing and Marriage Missionary with Zoweh Ministries, and as Director of Content and board member for ManAlive Expedition, where he continues to volunteer as a speaker for men's events.

Joseph is a Certified Enneagram Coach, worship leader, songwriter, and the author of The Outrider: Become the Man You Needed. Together with Lori, he leads Revealed Image Ministries, creating spaces where people can encounter Jesus, experience healing, discover their beloved identity, and walk in the freedom He offers.

Whether preaching, mentoring, leading worship, writing, or walking alongside someone in their story, Joseph's passion is helping people recognize Jesus as the Hero and respond to His invitation into deeper healing and wholehearted living. He has a gift for making Scripture approachable, asking thoughtful questions, and helping others hear the voice of the Good Shepherd for themselves.

Joseph and Lori co-founded Revealed Image Ministries in 2016 to bring together the healing, training, and experience God has woven through their lives. Today they lead the Redeemed Marriage Retreat, along with other retreats, workshops, and ministry experiences that bring together biblical discipleship, professional expertise, and authentic community. Their vision is to help people experience restoration in body, mind, and spirit, and become who God created them to be.

Dr. Lori Mize PT, DPT, WCS

Lori grew up in rural Arkansas and married her high-school sweetheart, Joseph. Today they live on his family farm, where they raise their children and grandchildren and steward a legacy of faith, family, and restoration. Lori is most at home working on the farm, hiking mountain trails, cooking for a full table, and creating beauty through thoughtful design.

She earned her Bachelor of Health Science with an emphasis in Physical Therapy in 2001, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2004, both from the University of Central Arkansas. In 2010, she became the first board-certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist in the state of Arkansas—a distinction that continues to shape her leadership in the field.

Lori spent eleven years in full-time clinical practice devoted to women’s health and pelvic rehabilitation before transitioning into higher education, where she has taught for over a decade. She began her academic career at the University of Lynchburg’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2014 and later joined the University of Central Arkansas faculty in 2019. She now serves on faculty as an Associate Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Education at the University of Utah, where she teaches in the areas of women’s, men’s, and pelvic health, professional practice, leadership, biopsychosocial care, and advanced rehabilitation practice.

A recognized leader in pelvic health, Lori has spent many years teaching, mentoring, and serving in key leadership roles within the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Pelvic Health. Her service includes positions as Vice President, Director of Education, and Assistant Chair of the Pelvic Health Committee, along with membership on both the CAPP-Pelvic Education Committee and the International Education Committee. Lori has advanced pelvic health education globally—leading rehabilitation training initiatives in Japan and Korea—and has championed improved education and access to pelvic health services across rural communities in Arkansas.

Lori is an international speaker and the founder of Pelvic Restoration, an educational platform that equips women and clinicians with evidence-based pelvic health resources. Her insight shaped the "Redeeming Sex" bonus session in The Rendezvous Project by Zoweh Ministries, and she and Joseph have since partnered with Zoweh and other ministries to host events where couples experience meaningful breakthrough, deeper intimacy, and renewed connection.

In 2016, Lori co-founded Revealed Image Ministries with her husband, Joseph, to create spaces where people can encounter Jesus, receive healing, and walk in the freedom of their beloved identity. Together, they lead the Redeemed Marriage Retreat and other ministry experiences that integrate biblical discipleship, professional expertise, and compassionate care. Through retreats, marriage workshops, teaching sessions, and personal ministry, they invite individuals and couples into environments where God brings clarity, comfort, restoration, and transformational grace.
