Joseph & Lori

Joseph Mize

Joseph grew up on a rural farm in Arkansas, where he now raises his family and is blessed to live as Son, Husband, and Dad.  Five Generations are currently living on the Mize farm!

His professional career began at Acxiom in Conway, Arkansas upon graduating Harding University in 2000 with a B.B.A in Business Management. After 12 years leading production teams in database marketing he began to pursue a missional career leading the operations and technology for Capstone Treatment Center, a faith based residential treatment center for young men. In 2014, Joseph moved to Virginia with his family where he earned an M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership Studies from the University of Lynchburg, and cared for his young family while renovating an old Virginia farmhouse, which turned out to be a live in parable of the process of restoration.

In 2010 Joseph began an exploration of his heart by attending and volunteering at multiple men’s events hosted by John Eldredge and the Wild at Heart team. In 2013, he began volunteering for ManAlive Expedition, a nonprofit organization seeking to provide healing encounters for men modeled after Wild at Heart events. On this journey Joseph began a simultaneous process of healing and training in speaking and healing prayer. He began serving on the ManAlive board in 2018 and currently serves as Director of Content. While working on his master’s degree, Joseph and his wife, Lori, founded Revealed Image Ministries as a blog space and the desire to create space for couples to encounter God together.

In 2018, Joseph and Lori attended the live recording of The Rendezvous by Zoweh with Michael Thompson and volunteered as an interview couple for the recorded project. Joseph joined the team at Zoweh in January 2020 serving as Director of Marketing, Amazon sales and Marriage Missionary. He and Lori offered the content for the bonus session, Redeeming Sex, in The Rendezvous Project by Zoweh and began to host events featuring this new resource, where many marriages have been transformed.

In each of these arenas, Joseph has grown in a gifting and calling to sit in a person’s story and partner with Jesus for healing and deliverance. He has a knack for explaining the mysteries of scripture and mentoring others with the heart of a healthy big brother. In 2022, God called Joseph and Lori to formalize Revealed Image Ministries as a nonprofit organization, to encompass the healing, training, and expertise they have received through their collective story. Joseph and Lori are leading the charge to create a space where multidisciplinary professionals can come together for authentic healing for a person’s body, mind and spirit so they can truly be revealed as God has created them to be.
